DUTIES OF COMMANDER

The Commander shall preside at all meeting of the Post and the Executive Committee, but shall have no vote on issues except to break a tie vote. He shall have general supervision of the Post, of its activities, and of its properties. He shall represent the Post at all public functions at which Post representation is requested. He shall assist the Nomination Committee in its nominations for a Second Junior Vice Commander for the ensuing year. He shall be a delegate to the DuPage County Executive Council and to the annual State Convention. He shall appoint all committees except members of the Nominating Committee. At the installation meeting, he shall present a written report on all the major activities of the Post during his administration and shall make recommendation for the ensuing year.
